By flowerpot cultivation test and lab analysis, we have studied the physiological goal effect of Pb and Cd pollution to the 3 plants written hereinbefore respectively as well as the Pb and Cd accumulation and transferring. Explore the 3 different plants endurance and recovery potentials respectively to the corresponding heavy metals so as to provide the scientific base to heavy metal polluted soil controlling and rehabilitation. Here in after is the main study fruit:1. Pb or Cd single pollution to the 3 plants growth effectUnder Pb or Cd single pollution , Thlaspi arvense poison in high contents Cd in the soil However, no obvious inhibition and poisoning occur to Allium sativum and Pelargonium horlarum .By weight yield as index, Pelargonium horlarum &Allium sativum critical contents of Cd is 5mg/kg&50mg/kg. Pelargonium horlarum ,Thlaspi arvense & Allium sativum critical contents of Pb is 1000 mg/kg, 800 mg/kg &1200 mg/kg.The more the Cd contents, the heavier the inhibition. So we'd say that Thlaspi arvense is more sensitive to Cd from the point of view of cultivation or growth. In 0 to 15000 mg Pb content / per kg soil environment, 3 plants all can grow normally without obvious change both in height and biological size, which demonstrates that all 3 plants possess certain extent of Pb resistance abitily.2. Pb or Cd single pollution to the membrane infiltration ability effect of the 3 plants Under Pb or Cd single pollution environment, the damage seriousness of cell membrane of all3 plants increases with the Pb or Cd contents/density increasing. In the same Cd contents pollution environment, the cell membrane of Thlaspi arvense damages most, Allium sativum comes the second and the least is Pelargonium horlarum. In the same content of Pb pollution environment, low content/density of Pb pollution damages the 3 plants cell membrane at the same extent While under the high content/density of Pb pollution environment, the result is just opposite with that in the same Cd content pollution. The conclusion is that under the same Cd content pollution environment, Pelargonium horlarum endures most, while under the same Pb content pollution environment, Thlaspi arvense endures most.3. Pb and Cd accumulation character of 3 plants The Pb and Cd accumulation of 3 plants increase as Cd and Pb contents in the soil rise. Within the plant proper, ground above portion accumulation ability is less than that underground portion.Under the same content/density of Cd environment, the ground above portion of Pelargonium horlarum accumulates Cd most, Thlaspi arvense comes the second and Allium sativum the least. For the plant under ground portion, Pelargonium horlarum accumulates Cd most, the second is Allium sativum and the Thlaspi arvense least. The conclusion is that Pelargonium horlarum can accumulate Cd mostUnder the same Pb content/density of environment, the above ground portion of Allium sativum possesses the most ability to accumulate Pb, then Thlaspi arvense and Pelargonium horlarum, For under ground portion, Allium sativum also accumulates Pb most, then Thlaspi arvense while Pelargonium horlarum the least Allium sativum.
