The twin-roll casting and rolling Technique is an advanced technology in the metallurgy and material machining. The casting and rolling Technique is applied by the Magnesium alloy figuration, that can resolve problem of Magnesium alloy strip figuration, which has the far-reaching significance and huge practical profit to the Magnesium alloy vast industrialized yield. Synchronously the flow estate and temperature distributing in the melting pool decides the strip quality and the casting and rolling prosecution, so it is very important that the investigation of Magnesium alloy casting melting pool velocity field and temperature field.Commercial program ANSYS was applied to the continuous casting process and a mathematical simulation researched for velocity field and temperature field in this paper. This paper investigated by thermal flow coupling. The research chooses a double flank SEN by the using casting nozzle form for reference and integrating casting and rolling characteristic. The research analyses simulation result under the different SEN structural parameters. The conclusions show that:The velocity field and temperature field in the melting pool used the double flank SEN distributes reasonably. This nozzle exerts its function adequately.Many parameters as nozzle length,nozzle width,angle of out-let angle and immersion depth influence significantly velocity field and temperature field in melting pool, the optimized research on field should consider all these parameters comprehensively.On the condition of experiments, the appropriate SEN structural parameters are that: The nozzle length is 64mm, nozzle width is6mm, angle of out-let aperture is 20°, range of immersion depth is 30mm.The numerical simulation result inosculates the water simulation date commendably. It affords an important foundation for nozzle optimizing that the result of numerical simulation and water simulation.
