Functional Evaluation Of The Shangtang River In Hangzhou City And Its Application Analyses

With development of social economics and extension of city, there existed many contradictions between the development of city and its river protection. It became very common nowadays in the city river, such as the injury of the river, unsufficiency in land use of the river, and the shortage of lives and the loss of the natural scenery. Therefore, the city river became dirty, resulting in the damage of the ecology and the deteriorate of the environment. It was the chief subject in the city management to exploit the comprehensive role of the city river.Based on the analysis of the characteristics and style of the city river, the thesis elucidated the relationship between city and the river. And also, the essay put forward the function of the river and evaluated the city river via analyzing the components affecting the city river.
