In this thesis, many influencing factors of UV-curing vinylester resin were studied. separately discussing the effect of photoinitiator and its concentration, attenuant, accelerant on the curing-velocity, curing-degree and thickness, And then determined the best technique of UV-curing vinylester resin and composite material. According to some primary experiments, 1173 have been selected from four photoinitiators. The effects of initiator concentration and curing technology on the curing properties of the vinylester resin system, which with photoinitators 1173 is investigated by Babcock hardness test. To analysis the variation in double bond of UV curing in the course of UV curing, the FTIR spectrometry was used to track the conversion rate of double bond.It is shown that: The degree of cure is non-uniform along the curing-velocity and the thickness direction. When oxygen exists, It increases at first and remains unchanged at the highest value, then drop down at last. High photoinitiator concentration could reduce the effect of inhibition of oxygen, but higher concentration would lead to an insufficient cure of the thick sample. According to the curve line of Babcock hardness, which agrees with the Beer-Lambert law.From the investigation of UV-curing composite material, we find material mechanics have great relationship with surface performance.According to the results of the mechanical tests, UV-cured composite which initiate by 1173 has the similar mechanical properties with thermo-cured composite. At last, the UV and thermo co-cured reins system has been preliminarily studied...
