Due to the complexity of the outline and structure, the technological design of automobile covering partsis is still based on experience and knowledge of the designer and designed by analogy. Previous automobile coverage forming process design, which normally takes a similar reference to the existing technological components, and the preliminary craft program is established according to the processing property and formability of the shaped part,and then it will be modified and perfected by the trial stamping, then the appropriate craft program is formed. However, this method needs large quantity of manpower and material resources, besides, it prolongs the development cycle of new model and the mating dies.With the development of finite element technique and database, Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP) and Computer Aided Engineer (CAE) have become the effective tool of process design and technology analysis step by step.Based on group technology theory, we work out sorting code number and established database which based on Visual FoxPro6.0 relational database, including the parts query system, the process query system, the experience query system and resources query system. Using VisualBasic6.0 develops the knowledge-based stamping process planning system, which applies knowledge to the analysis of the process feature and calculations of the main process parameter, then, aids detailed stamping process planning.In this paper the non-linear explicit finite element theory is studied systematically, which include material models, element algorithm and contact handling methods etc. Using a dynamic explicit FEA software ETA/Dynaform5.2, and introduces the generation of automobile panel's binder and addendum. Through predicting the defects such as wrinkle and cracks of automobile outdoor simulation, we adjusted pressure-pad-force, drawbead, friction coefficient and adding technical cut. Also, we discuss a possible improvement program according to the theory FLD and provide effective guidance for the design and production of sheet metal forming technology, in addition, the development cycle of stamping panel mould is shortened, thus reduced the cost of product development and product period significantly. |
