Calculation for cable-suspended structures of pipelines is studied by the theory analyses and the model experiments and numerical simulation analyses. Methods of calculation are briefly induced based on the experience and the characteristics of structure's mechanics. The calculation formulas of structures are put forward according to simulation analyses and dynamic in-situ experiments. Furthermore, the programmes are programmed based on the formulas. They can apply the results of project design combined the programme of finite element simulation. The main content and outcome of this paper are as following:Chapter one: Introduction. The evolvement of the pipe design and calculation is discussed. The main reseach of this paper is put forward.Chapter two: Shaking table test. The model scaled to be one eighth of the actual cable-suspended structure of pipelines is designed and made. The experiments include modal tests, vibration tests by knocking, shaking table tests by inputting white-noises and seismic waves, and tests of cable forces and vibration frequencies.Chapter three: Dynamic in-situ experiments. Dynamic in-situ experiments have been done for the cable-suspended structure of pipelines in ShanXi province. Signals are collected by the sensors installed on the cables. The whole characteristics of structure, such as cable, tower, anchor cables have be tested.Chapter four: Structure's analyses by finite element .Two finite element simulation models are built by ANSYS programme according to the actual structure and the model structure respectively. Situations of cable prestress and large deformation are simulated. The static, modal, earthquake response analyses have been done.Chapter five: The engine of calculation. The calculation formulas of structures are aggregated based on the results of finite element simulation and dynamic in-situ experiments.
