The periodate sodium was used to selectively oxidize cotton fiber to the dialcellulose in the present dissertation, and then oxidized fibers were treated by SF andcollagen protein solution in the present dissertation. The weight change of oxidizedfiber treated by SF and collagen protein solution, morphology of the cotton fiber,aggregation structure, and mechanical performance of cotton yarn and fabric, as wellas cotton fabric anti-wrinkle performance have studied in this dissertation.The findings indicated that, the periodic acid root ion selectively oxidized the twocellulose hydroxyl in the position glucose's C2,C3 to dial aldehyde, followed"decorticate" response, beta-alkoxy fragmentation as well as cellulosemacro-molecule chain break in acid or alkali solution. In the oxidation process, theprimary factors of oxidized degree were oxidant concentration, oxidized time andoxidized temperature. Along with oxidized degree deepening, weightlessness rate ofcotton yarn and cotton fabric increased; the oxidized fiber's surface striationsgradually deepened; the crystallinity of oxidised cellulose increased when treated inlow oxidant concentration, after the concentration the crystallinity unceasingly toreduce; the oxidized cotton yarn and fabric breaking strength gradually reduced, afterdeep oxidization breaking elongation rate of cotton yarn increased; Thethermodynamics performance of oxidized cotton fiber unceasingly reduced.After treated with SF and collogen protein solution, imine covalence formedbetween aldehyde group and amido; low concentration (1.5g/L NaIO4) oxidizedcotton fiber crystallinity changed little, the high concentration(21.4g/L NaIO4) cottonfiber crystallinity enhanced; the oxidized cotton fiber's thermodynamics performanceincreased; the oxidized cotton yarn and the cotton fabric mechanics performancechange little; the cotton fabric wrinkles performance increased obviously.
