It indicated that flavonoid compounds existed widely in propolis. The article aimed chiefly at developing and ultilizing propolis resource,and elucidating the pharmacological actilizing of its flavonoid compounds,meanwhile,extracting technogical conditions were studied in the paper ,an optimum method for getting total flavonids was founded,and the antioxygenic activity,antimicrobial activity and preservation were experimented.Above research shows that:To determine the propolis physicochemical popertie,the propolis used in experiment was qualified. Extracting technogical conditions were detail studied in the paper.Different polar solvents had been studied,95% ethanol,ehtyl acetate,acetone,ethyl ether and water were used in extracting,the results was acetone>95%ethanol>ehtyl acetate>ehtyl acetate>water, Sy- nthesizing all the factors ,we choose ethanol to extract. Study on the different extracting methods: ethanol refluxing extraction, microwave extraction, and ultrasound extraction, the result showed that the concentration of ethanol gave a notable effect on the content of total flavonoids in propolis,ratio of liquit was not influnce it obvious. It was also showed that the effect of ultrasound extraction was best.Based on the single factor experiment, Response surface methodology (RSM) was employed in the work and a second order quadratic equation for propolis flavones by ultrasound extraction. The adequacy of the model equation was verified effectively by the validation date. Effects of ethanol concentration, extracting time, extracting power and ratio of liquid to propolis were explored.By analyzing the response surface plots and their corresponding contour plots as well as solving the quadratic equation,the opimum processing for ultrasound extraction were 79.51%,19.31min,538.38w,39.48:1.And the results for propolis flavones were 5.859%.The antioxidative activities of extracts from propolis by three different methods had been experimented.To research the scavenging effects on superoxide anion free radical(SAFR)and hydroxyl free radical( HFR) by ethanol refluxing extraction, microwave extraction, and ultrasound extraction .From the experiments we can draw the conclusion that all of the three extracts had strong antioxidative activities,the scavenging effects on superoxide anion free radical(SAFR):40.2%,57.16%,46.31%;hydroxyl free radical( HFR): 46.78%,70.53%,56.31%. The microwave extraction had stronger antioxidative activities.The antioxidant activity of propolis microwave extraction was studied in rapeseed oil,the result was: ehtyl acetateit>95%ethanol>acetoneehtyl acetate>water. Added with 0.02%,0.04%,0.06%,0.08%, compared with control group,the peroxide value were decreased 39.4%,55.8%,74.1%,78.4%in the 5th day and the suggestion addition level was 0.06%. Microwave extraction had stronger antioxidative activities than that of polyphenol and similar to Vc,tartaric acid had the best synergetic effect. Propolis was a natual good antioxidation.The antimicrobial activities of the extracts from the propolis by three methods had been studied,the result was that: Bacillus cereus>staphylococcus aureate>mixed microbes from egg surface>Bacillus subtilis>Escherichia coli>Escherichia coli>salmonella.All the propolis extraction had the anti-microbial activities for common bacteria in food, especially for gram positive bacteria. It was also showed that the effect of ultrasound extraction was best, the MIC of the extract were :0.1% against staphylococcus aureate and Bacillus cereus,0.2% against Bacillus subtilis and mixed microbes from egg surface,0.8% against Escherichia coli and salmonella.Preservation were experimented on eggs and apples, In 30th,eggs control group weight loss rate was 13.81%, in the 6th,apples was 7.58%,by Immersion preparation and spraying methods treatment of the ethanol refluxing,microwave and ultrasound extraction were:7.62%,7.88%;7.79%,8.72%;6.66%,7.03% ;3.91%,4.05%;3.44%,3.49%;2.48%,2.51%. In 50th day, the disseminate eggs rate of control group was 95%, by different treatment were: 5%,15%;10%,25%;0%,5%.The result proved that propolis had good preservation function, the ultrasound extraction was best and the immersion preparation method was better than spraying method.
