Propolis was as well known as the purple gold.The worker bees of Apis gather the resin from the plant body,and mix in the palatine secretion which chews after the processing.It was the coherent natural porodine material.In this paper,through the extracted and emulsifying propolis process control,and bacteriostatic test,it provided an important scientific basis for propolis emulsion to process and use.1.The propolis was extracted with ethanol.The optimal parameters of extraction was determined by the experimental results of single-factor.It was the orthogonal factors Test level.According orthogonal test results and analysis of variance determined ethanol extract of propolis optimum process parameters as follows:ethanol concentration 80%,extraction temperature 60℃,the extraction time 3 h,ultrasound time 20 min in this condition,the results of propolis extract is the flavonoid content of 21.4%,the extract yield 50.7%.2.The effects of Tween-20,Tween-40,Tween -60,Tween-80 and Triton X-100 five emulsifiers and combinations on propolis emulsion under the emulsion temperature 50℃, emulsifier content 2%(volume percentage),stirring time 2 h were compared from the transmittance and emulsifying flavonoid content of propolis emulsion.According the result, Tween-40,Tween-60 and Tween-40 and Tween-60 combinations were selected to Emulsification for propolis.3.The propolis was emulsified with the sole emulsion technology.Separately through the orthogonal experiment,we studied the effects of emulsifying temperature,emulsifier quantity,ultrasonic time,stirring time comparing to the transmittance and propolis emulsion in the emulsion.The optimum emulsifying by sole was obtained with tween-40 at following condition:emulsifying temperature 60℃,tween-40 dosage 2%(volume percentage),ultrasonic time 10 min,stirring time 120 min,and the emulsion from propolis transmittance rate of the emulsion propolis was 80.5%,Emulsion flavonoid content was 38.1%.The optimum emulsifying by sole was obtained with tween-60 at following condition:emulsifying temperature 60℃,tween-60 dosage 2%(volume percentage), ultrasonic time 10 min,stirring time 60 min,and the emulsion from propolis transmittance rate of the propolis emulsion was 82.9%.emulsion flavonoid content was 37.5%.4.The propolis was emulsified with the compound emulsification technology.Through the single factor experiment,we studied the light transmittance and flavonoids content of the emulsions which were emulsified by different combinative Tween-40 and Tween-60.In order to study the relationships between the light transmittance Y1,content of flavone Y2 and emulsification temperature X1,ultrasonic time X2,stirring time X3,a dual quadratic rotary combinative design scheme was employed and two regression models were obtained, which confidence were all 95%.Y1=80.08+0.76X1+0.58X2+0.94X3Y2= 36.48+0.66X2+1.21X35.Appended the dilute solution of Tween-40 propolis emulsion,Tween-60 propolis emulsion,propolis composite emulsion and propolis ethanol solution for antibacterial Test to the aureus staphylococcus,escherichia coli,Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Their result were the inhibitory effects are good when they were diluted below or the equivalent to four times,but it was very significant when the antibacterial effect diluted to 8 times,four emulsion inhibitory effect compared to a comparison:propolis ethanol liquid > propolis composite emulsion> tween-60 propolis emulsion> tween-40 propolis emulsion.
