| Vegetable oil polyol , which was synthesized from soybean oil is a kind of basic material to prepared polyurethane foam . This kind of vegetable oil polyol is an important direction of replacing energy and environment protection.Vegetable oil polyol differs greatly with petroleum polyol on molecule structure and physical properties. These differences prevent application and develop of industry. The special performance of Vegetable oil polyol was studied. The radio of reactant and the characterization of foam were investigated.A series of comparison of physical properties was conducted between vegetable oil polyol and petroleum polyol on physical properties such as characterization of viscosity and surface tension. And the value of OH was also measured. The vegetable oil PUF was prepared using synthesized vegetable oil polyol as raw material. Mechanic performances including Compress intensity, bend intensity, impact intensity and DMA were tested for PUF in which petroleum polyol was instead by vegetable oil polyol from 10% to 90%. These results imply that 30% vegetable oil PUF is similar to petroleum. The vegetable oil PUF is excellence in damping. The property of hydrolyzation was tested by marinating the PUF with different vegetable oil polyol into the solution of sodium hydroxide. The results show that the existing of vegetable oil polyol can accelerate the degradation of PUF and vegetable oil polyol is a more degradable material. The appearance of PUF with different vegetable oil polyol was analyzed using SEM. It was found that too many vegetable oil polyol did not benefit the stability of appearance. TG experiment was conducted on PUF with different vegetable oil polyol. The results show that stability of thermal property decreased with the addition of vegetable oil polyol, but it is not obvious. |
