In this paper, the extraction process of polysaccharide and total triterpene acid from the residues of zizyphus Jujuba Mill was researched and optimized, and the process was developed, which not only is it low cost and less pollution, but also is suitable for industrial production. The objective of research is to provided scheme and exper iment data for utilization of the residues of zizyphus Jujuba Mill.Firstly, uniform design was adopted to observe effect of time, temperature and Solid-liquid ratio on polysaccharide extraction rate, and optimum parameters for the extraction with water is as follow: temperature 85℃,time 2h and Solid-liquid ratio 1:10.Through comparative study, to choose TCA to remove protein and hydrogen peroxide to decolor.Secondly, The extracting technique of jujuba polysaccharide was scaled up in this research. The final results show that the extraction yield of jujuba raw polysaccharide was 11%, the content of product reached 30%.the enlarge experiment result is satisfied.Thirdly, Through exploring the extracting process of total triterpene acid from the residues of zizyphus Jujuba Mill, the technology that included extracting with ethanol, decoloring with activated carbon, acid-alkali treatment and enriching with solvent was determined. To choose the optimum technique through the single factor and the orthogonal experiments, the optimal technology is as follows: liquid-to-solid ratio 3:1, extracting with 90% ethanol at 85℃, decoloring with activated carbon by 10g/L, adding HC1 72mL every liter to enrich product, adding 3%NaOH to remove impurity, ethyl acetate used to extract three times. By this way, the yield reach 1.51%, content reach 55.41%.Lastly, X-5 macroporous resin was selected to purify total triterpene acids, and the technic parameter was determined through the single factor experiment. The purity of final product was above 80%. Resin adsorption kinetics studies show adsorption rate is controlled by film diffusion and particle diffusion.
