Researching The End Use Ability Of PTT Fancy Yarn Knit Fabric

As one of the new synthesize fiber,PTT has the ability of PET's stability and PA's compliance. PTT has good extensibility,giving a little strench will get good lengthening,and it also can go back to the original length. PTT can be dyed to deep color during 110℃and 120℃,and is suitable for being mixed with cellulose and natural faric. And PTT is cheap after large quantities of production. As so many advantages,the large using will be trend.Comparing with common yarn,fancy yarn has vivid appearance and rich color,it has got most consumers',especially ladies' favor. Combining PTT fiber's characteristics and fancy yarn's structure,we will develop new PTT fancy yarn fabric.There are two kinds of PTT fancy yarn in this paper-Chenilleand Kade Crope yarn.(1) Comparing the ability of 3.5 count PTT PET and Nitrilon Chenille.Firstly,testing yarn's breaking strength breaking elongation and twist. Then knitting flat and rib structure .After washing and mellowing,comparing the thermohydrocomfort.The hair losing rate is very important for Chenille. There are two sides in researching hair losing rate of Chenille.First,testing the above 3.5 yarn count fabrics' hair losing rate. The method is weighting and calculating the losing weight of Chenille after firction on abrasion test machine.Second,testing plat and rib fabric's hair losing weight of 3.5 count 2.5count common Chenille and 2.5 count FDY Chenille. Looking for the fabric whose hair losing weight is less,when adding different pressure and different firction times. And using the method of liner-fit to analyses the connection between hair losing weight and firction(2) Kade Crope yarn is one of the new fancy yarn. It is composed of one thin yarn and one thick yarn. The thin yarn has twist or not,the thick yarn has twist,their directions of twist is opposition. During the course of spining,the thick yarn twist run back in the opposition direction and surround the thin yarn. The thin one inset the thick one,and it's Kade Crope yarn.In the experiment,there are five structures of Kade Crope yarn,they are flat stitch,rib stitch,rib 2*2 stitch,Italian rib and cardigan stitch. After washing and mellowing,testing and analyzing some wearability,including bend capability,appearance retention,creaseresistance,washing shrinkage and thermohydrocomfort. As wearability is a all-around target,reflecting the whole characteristic of fabric,so judging the wearability by using the fuzzy math judgement method to get the suitable structure of Kade Crope yarn.I hope the research of PTT fancy yarn's wearability will can help production.
