Therefore, in the modern manufacturing production, the management tools gradually coming to the focus.From the technical point of view, current tool (data) management system is based on commercial software development platform, built with the server/client (C/S) structure, so the cost of the development, deployment, maintenance and secondary development of tool management systems is high; As the software itself is using closed source commercial development tools and platforms, it's lack of openness.Firstly, this article firstly introduces the method and software of the tool management, gives a detailed analysis of the key technologies of the system, including tool data management, tool identification and location, tool condition monitoring, and tool scheduling, and aims to establish a tool data management system, which is economical, efficient, stable, and suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.After discussing the excellence of the B/S structure, the feasibility of open source platform (FreeBSD, PostgreSQL, Apache, PHP), which is an emerging technology. On the base of object-oriented thought, unified modeling language (UML) is used to establish the functional modules of the system which includes six subsystems: tool data management, users, stock management, external data exchange, System maintenance, and data security; And FreeBSD, PHP, PostgreSQL and Apache are used as the developing platform, which is totally free and open source.Eventually, achieves some key features of the system under open source platform, including tool data query, simple stock management, external data exchange, background management, and discuss the data security in the server side, data security of the client, and the security of the data transmission. This article build a complete set of open source platform Web-based solution framework that is highly efficient, economical, open, and security, and prove the feasibility of building a Web-based tool data management system under open source platform. |
