Research On Noise Control Of Cooling Tower Of Central Air Conditioner

The centralized refrigeration system of central air conditioner is commonly adopted air conditioner system in the current construction of residential districts. However, the noise generated in the operation of the cooling tower of this system is a serious pollution to the residential districts and the environment. With the enhancement of people's demands for the quality of life and environment, the noise problem of cooling tower of central air conditioner becomes increasingly serious, which needs to be solved immediately. Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the sound environment of the residential districts surrounding the cooling tower while meeting the demands of people for high quality of life.This paper makes analysis on the various noise sources of cooling tower assembly and states the common control methods. Then it proposes the control measures directed at blower vibration isolation, noise reduction of nylon net and other problems on the basis of the measurement and analysis of the noise characteristics on the environmental problems generated by the mechanical draft cooling tower of central air conditioner in Sun Island residence. Through practical controlling work, the radiated noise of the cooling tower is decreased by over 10 dB (A) and the noise in the area formerly polluted by the cooling tower meets the noise standard of category II.
