This thesis includes three chapters:Chapter 1:Research progress of photochromic spiropyran and spiroozaxine compoundsPhotochromic compounds have attracted much attention recently because of their potential utility in various high-tech applications,such as opitical filters,optical switches,high-density optical data storage and other moleculer devices.In this chapter,the photochromic course of development,as optical information stored principle,photochromic organic compounds used for optical information storage media have the advantage of photochromic compounds prospect and the applied value of photochromic compouds were systermically reviewed.The course of development, the photochomic mechanism and the synthesis methods of spiropyrans and spirooxazines were also mainly introduced.And the thermal stability and the way of increasing the thermal stability were studied.In addition,simple introduced several other.important class of organic photochromic compounds and their photochromic mechanism.Chapter 2 Synthesis and structure characterization of spiropyrans and spirooxazinesThe synthetic craft which were simple,convenient,mild,and economical had been designed and developed,based on the systematical consulation of literatures. More than ten intermediates,three new photochromic spiropyrans and three new photochromic spirooxazines:SO(â…¡)(a,b,c)were synthesized.Their structures were identifieded by IR,elemental analysis,~1HNMR et al.The UV-Vis spectroscopy of SO(â…¡)(b,c)were studied especially.Chapter 3 Synthesis and photochromism of graft coplymerization of spiropyran onto carboxymethyi chitinThe graft coplymerization of spiropyran onto carboxymethyl chitin were prepared by two ways.The structure of copolymer were characterized by IR,thermal analysis(TG),and UV-Vis spectroscopy,and the solubility were studied.The results show the reaction of graft coplymerization have completed.The photochromism has been studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy and it shows that the copolymers have photochromism behavior.The solubility of the copolymers were better than the carboxymethyl chitin's.The thermal stability of open form of the copolymer have been improved.The reaction mechanism of two methords were presumed.The next work of this was designed.
