| With the wide application and development of plastic profiles, the technical requirements of plastic profile extrusion die have been heightened. It is an urgent need to change the situation in China that the design of plastic profile extrusion die depends too much on experience.This paper summarizes the existing home and abroad research results and application of the CAD/CAE technology in plastic profile extrusion die, and analyzes its structure and design technique. A new idea is presented that we construct the CAD system of plastic profile extrusion die based on PDM platform. The die is divided into different sections to design, and then be assembled again. This way meets the improvement and renovation of the extrusion die technique, and provides the space that improves the precision and reliability of extrusion die design by computer simulation technique. We develop a new extrusion die CAD system and solve several key related techniques, such as linking AutoCAD system and Access database. Furthermore, we analyze the inner tendon by CFD simulate software, which provides a useful attempt at deciding structure parameter and improves the precision and reliability of inner tendon flow channel.The research of this paper is mainly about the construction of the plastic profile extrusion die CAD system on PDM platform, which meets the current situations and development requirements and will make a great effect on the design technique of Extrusion Die Corporation in China. |
