The resin - graphite electricity carbon composite materials mainly uses to high pressure AC machine which has the property of long life and difficult commutation. The influence was studied to the static property of the electricity carbon compound material, influencing factors included the type and content of padding, the type of additive and the process. Meanwhile, frictional behavior was studied of this material. The conclusions as follows were obtained:1. With the increasing of graphite grain size, brush composite materials had higher resistance and porosity and weaken mechanical strength too;2. Under the conditions of a certain range (3 ~ 9%) of MoS2 content and the synergies of graphite composite materials, brush had lower friction coefficient and wear rate;3. Epoxy F44 had better heat resistance than E20, but with the increasing of temperature electrical resistance and mechanical property lost; With the increasing of the proportion F44, the hardness and flexural strength of the composite material had increased, as well as the resistance;4. In a certain range with the increasing of solidify and heating-up rate, brush materials had good electrical properties, too fast heating-up rate would yield many bubbles in the brush, resulting in a very low resistance fracture strength. The brush composite materials easily broken or peeled off and lead to short life in shock or other hard conditions;5. With the increasing of time, the wear extent of the brush gradually increased, the mainly the wear format changed from the machinery wear original to the electrical wear later.
