With rapid development of mold's CAD/CAM, its application scope is becoming extensive day by day. There are many successful CAD/CAM systems in the field of punch mold, forge mold, extrusion mold, injection mold and die casting mold, etc. Adopting technology CAD/CAM is a measure with which revolutionizes mold production and an outstanding characteristic of mold technology development.The purpose of this thesis is to develop a modeling system of punching part based on high-quality computer and utilizing characteristic shaping technique. Under the consideration of relative independence of tensile parts, this thesis is to build up a modeling system against parts punched and bent.Main task to complete is as following:1 To trace and study basic concepts and theoretical methods of characteristic shaping technique.2 To utilize characteristic shaping technique to develop a modeling system of punching part based on its characteristic.
