Imidazole and its derivatives are a series of significant fluorescent reagent and chemiluminescence materials. In this paper, imidazole derivatives substituted with aryl heterocycles which have been scarcely studied were synthesized by using aryl aldehydes, 2,2' -pyridil and 2,2' -thenil as raw materials via Debus reaction in this paper. Furthermore, characteristics of some lophine derivatives Peroxides were evaluated by chemiluminescence(CL) spectroscopy under base condition.First, 2, 2'-pyridil was synthesized directly using 2-Pyridinecarboxaldehyde as material under catalysis. Secondly, in the process of the experiment, the reaction was traced with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Thin-Layer Chromatography(TLC)and the appropriate condition of reaction was ascertained, respectively. Finally a series of imidazole derivates were synthesized: 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-4, 5-di(2-pyridyl)imidazole, 2-(4-bromicphenyl)-4,5-di(2-pyridyl) imidazole,2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4,5-di(2-thenyl)imidazole,2-phenyl-4,5-di(2-thenyl)imi dazole,2-(4-nitrophenyl)-4,5-di(2-thenyl)imidazole,2-(4-bromicpheny)-4,5-di(2-thenyl)i midazole,2-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,5-di(2-thenyl)imidazole and 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4,5 -di(2-thenyl)imidazole the data of characterization which had not been reported before.Each target product was characterized by MS, IR, NMR, UV, FL, respectively. Through the data analysis of UV and FL spectra of all target products, we researched the effect of substituted groups upon the optical performance.
