This thesis studied the feasibility of poly(β-hydroxybutyrate)(PHB) as a kind of molecular imprinting material. The imprinting microspheres and the imprinting membranes of PHB were prepared. The performances of these samples were investigated.First, the degradability of PHB was investigated using Benzoyl Peroxide(BPO). It was found that the degrading process was affected by the reacting time, the adding weight of BPO and the reacting temperature. Stirring also made a little effect on the reaction. According to the degrading mechanism, the chain scission was random which belonged to step-reacting.The solvent evaporation technique was used to prepare imprinting microspheres of PHB, using BSA as a template. The multi-pore structure can be observed on the surface of spheres by polarizing microscope. The imprinting microspheres had better absorption than those without imprinting. Proper template adding weight can form more recognized position. The low molecular weight PHB can make better absorbed effect that can also be found while adding PEG. On the other hand, the imprinting microspheres showed no absorption to another protein and regeneration was also found. At last, imprinting membranes of PHB was prepared, using L-Phenylalanine (Pha) as a template. While EDC and DMF as mixed solvent, the imprinting membranes showed favorable properties. The imprinting membranes have better absorption effect than those without imprinting. These imprinting membranes showed no absorption to cinnamic acid in contrastive absorption. Adding of PEG or hot-treatment at 110℃can improve the absorbed effect, while hot-treated membranes at 110℃showed no absorbed effect in 15 days.
