Complete Utilization Of C9 Aromatics Mixture

C9 is pre-treated by distillation under vacuum pressure and Pseudocumene(>92%wt) and mesitylene(>35%wt) is obstained. Then mesitylene(>35%wt) was alkylated by propene or butene orα-dodecene. mesitylene(>92%wt) can be separated from the mixture by distillation.With propene,the best alkylation reaction condition is under the atmosphere temperature,reaction time last 60min,and the dosage of catalyst is 2~3%wt. C9 contents more than 80%wt mesitylene after the first alkylation and mesitylene content is more than 98%wt after the second alkylation.With butene,the best alkylation reaction condition is under the atmosphere temperature,reaction time last 60min,and the dosage of catalyst is 2~3%wt. C9 contents more than 80%wt mesitylene after the first alkylation and mesitylene content more than 98%wt after the second alkylation. Withα-dodecene,the best alkylation reaction condition is under the temperature 80℃, the dosage of catalyst is 3~5%wt. When the ratio ofα-dodecene to C9 is no more than 0.4,there are noα-dodecene left after reaction.Heteropoly acid alkylation solid catalysts such as HPW/SiO2,HPW/kaolin and HPW/Al-Sr hydrotalcite were prepared for replace the AlCl3 catalyst which is not friend with environment.The best loading content of HPW on HPW/SiO2 catalyst is 40%wt. HPW is dispersed on the surface of carrier with large surface area. The catalyst's alkylation activity is high and n(mesitylene):n(methyl-ethylbenzene) in C9 mixture can reach 48.11% after once alkylation.The best loading content of HPW on HPW/kaolin catalyst is 40%wt. HPW is dispersed on the surface of carrier with large surface area. The catalyst's alkylation activity is high for the interaction between HPW and the kaolin carrier. n(mesitylene):n(methyl-ethylbenzene) in C9 mixture can reach 50.23% after once alkylation.HPW was intercalated into hydrotalcite and formed the HPW/hydrotalcite catalyst. With it's high alkylation capacity n(mesitylene):n(methyl-ethylbenzene) in C9 mixture can reach 62.58% after once alkylation.
