The Solvent extraction is widely used since it has a number of advantages such as high oil recovery rate, low processing cost and easy to realize in industrial production. It is necessary to desolvent the extracted wet meal discharged from extractor to recover solvent since it contains large amount of solvent. The traditional desolventing method by heating and evaporating has many disadvantages such as high solvent loss, high heat energy consumptionm, and big burden of solvent vapor and steam condensing, etc. Thus the research on centrifugal desolventing process and device for wet extracted meal, which combines mechanical desolventing method with heating desolventing method, is of practical significance in terms of lowering solvent residue in meal, decreasing heat energy consumption and highering meal quality.Based on the Research and Development on New and environmental soybean oil extraction technology of the National scientific and technologic Tenth Five-year Plan, wet extracted meal desolventing process experiment with n-hexane and isopropyl alcohol as solvents respectively was conducted. Wet extracted meal desolventing technology by combining mechanical desolventing method with heating desolventing method was researched and wet extracted meal centrifugal desolventing device was designed.1, The experimental study of Centrifugal desolventing for wet soybean meal extracted by n-hexane was conducted. Centrifugally desolventing experimental study was conducted with soybean as the raw material and n-hexane as the solvent since it is widely used both in China and abroad. The soybean flakes and expanded soybean material extracted by n-hexane were dosolvented by the centrifugal desolventing device in the experiment. Centrifugal separating time, centrifugal separator rotating speed and the treating material amount were selected as the mono-factor. The effect of each factor on solvent residue was analyzed through the mono-factor experiment. The optimal desolventing parameters were determined by orthogonal experiment as following: when centrifugal separating time 3 min, centrifugal desolventizer rotate speed 2000 r/min and treating material amount 1000 g. The solvent content of wet soybean flakes can be decreased from 28% to 12% and the oil residue of separated soybean flakes is 0.7%. The solvent content of expanded soybean material can be decreased from 23% to 10% and the oil residue of separated expanded soybean material about 0.6%. The rate of removing solvent by centrifugal desolventing reaches more than 50%.2, The experimental study of Centrifugal desolventing for wet soybean meal extracted by isopropyl alcohol was conducted. The parallel desolventing experimental study was conducted with isopropyl alcohol as the solvent since it is a new kind of solvent in terms of environment and developing trend. The effects of centrifugal separating time, rotating speed and material feed amount on solvent residual of centrifugally separated material was analyzed. Experiment showed that isopropyl alcohol content of...
