Paper cutting blade is the most important executing compotent in press industry.Meanwhile, it is used in the industry of publishing, packaging, decorating, plastic making and some matel production widely.The abrasion of paper cutting blade have effect on quality of cutting, stability of cutting and production efficiency notably.With the development of the cutting market, the production efficiency of process of paper cutting rised higher and higher.The problem of abrasion of paper cutting blade had become key problem, so any method that could inhance the anti-abrasion of paper cutting blade would be popular.Recently, researchers found that the surfaces of living creatures have nonsmooth form, which was evolved and optimized in billions of years for the surviving reasons in respective existing condition.Many soil animals such as dung beetles, pangolins, earthworms have nonsmooth surface.The nonsmooth surface form included the form of convex, concave, ripple, and so on.It has been proved that no matter what kind of form of the nonsmooth surface could minish the contact area, resistance and adhesion between the two interfaces, and rise the anti-wear ability.According to the thought of anti-wear resistance of bionic nonsmoothness, the experiments of shape and performance changing to increase the wear ability of anti-wear resistance of paper cutting blade were done.The nonsmooth form of concave was chosen in the experiment.The experiments were based on the four factors, diameter of concave, the array mode of concave, the space between columns and rows.The primary and secondary order of the four factors were found in the experimental optimizing design and analysis, and the law of the factors was concluded.The paper analyzed the main mechanics reason about wear resistance of paper cutting blade with nonsmooth surface through simulating the cutting process of different blades using Ansys software.Thereby, it also offered a good opening of further research about wear resistance of paper cutting blade with nonsmooth surface.The experiment was carried out in two steps.Firstly, nonsmooth form was directly processed on the surface of paper cutting blade which was used in the production.Then it was tested in the production to find whether the surface with nonsmooth form could work on the wear resistance.And the result implied that nonsmooth form could increase the paper cutting blade anti-wear ability.Secondly, the experiment copied the paper cutting blade, and processed the experimental pieces, and processed lattice of different surface form on each piece, which was designed through the method of experimental optimizing design and analysis, then tested every piece's wear resistance.And the index of the experiment was the total quantity of cutting.The order of primary and secondary factors was as follows, the space between rows, the space between columns, the array mode of concave unit, and diameter of concave unit.The excellent team is the team that diameter of concave unit was 300μm , the space between columns was 300μm , the space between rows was 600μm , the array mode of concave unit was the form that the angle between row and columns was 120°.It was to say, the paper cutting blade with logical nonsmooth surface could rise its anti-wear ability sharply.At last, the paper had analized the effect on two main factors in different levels through graph and chart.Then, the paper simulated the working process of paper cutting blade with nonsmooth surface using Ansys software.It was concluded that proper nonsmooth surface could improve the stress distribution state of the blade on three aspects.Firstly,it could make the stress distribution shape the fishing net state.Secondly, it could transfer the maximal stress area, which separate the area from the cutted pieces.Thirdly, it could reduce the maximal stress.All this could give good effect on the anti-wear ability of the blade a lot. The results of the experiment indicated that proper nonsmooth surface form could rise the anti-wear ability of paper cutting blade, consequently, it could also rise the life-span of the paper cutting blade and the production ratio of cutting job effectively.
