The Arithmetic Research In Giving Parameter Of Foil Stamping

As an important part of the decorative finishing processes, aluminum foil stamping can increase the added-value of printed matter effectively, and certainly endow some anti-counterfeit features. With the continuous improvement of packaging and printing product requirements, the demand for foil stamping is also growing. Currently, the research on the issue of the foil feeding parameter at home and abroad is still relatively few, so in most cases the define of distance parameter of the foil walk and jump is just by experiences of the operators. This is not only inefficiency, but also causes a great waste of foil and print product, as a result, the enterprise suffers great losses. In view of the situations that mentioned and integrate some of practical experiences coming from several printing companies, this topic aims at studying the calculation method of foil feeding parameter during aluminum foil stamping process. And we will write a program that based on PC, which can calculate the right value of walk&jump distance of the foil feeding parameter during the establishing process of printing techniques, thereby increases production efficiency.This subject stands on a new angle and is more practical. The major innovations of this article read as follows: determine the calculation method of walk&jump distance for common aluminum foil stamping; the calculation method of walk&jump distance for precise holographic foil stamping; the calculation method of walk&jump distance for the laser multi foil-sliver avoidance shimline ;the programming of the interactive software for PC.The research of this subject will provide the theoretical foundation for calculation method of foil feeding parameter; and also provide some references for printing machine manufacturer& aluminum foil manufacturer to better fit the foil stamping process.
