| Automobile covering-die is the main parts of automobile. It is important to the aesthetic feeling of automobile, perfect automobile covering-die was needed. The structure of automobile covering-die has not only huge dimension but complex shape, so the process of product will lead to many product quality problems, such as crack, wrinkle and so on. Depending on the conventional experiences or stamping again and again to seek the best forming parameter and mould structure, on the one hand the product quality can not be ensured, on the other hand the prime cost will be increased, which will become the choke point when new car come into market.The fast development of computer technology makes the technology of sheet metal forming to a new step. The CAE software not only discover the forming drawbacks in advance and analyze the reason of forming drawbacks, but also simplify and optimize the stamping scheme and the mold design scheme. At the same time it can improve the quality of forming-product, can short the time of studying and developing die and can reduce the production costs.Based on the Dynaform software, this paper studied the drawing of process of interior panel of Citroen 206's wheel L/R, analyzed the deformation process of sheet metal and defects that probable generated, searched the reason of defects, and in the end looked for the way of decreasing the generation of defect. The effects of binder force, stamping speed, the gap between punch and die on the local thickness, crack, and wrinkle which the interior panel was drawn were sufficiently studied. According to the result of numerical simulation, the reason for crack and wrinkle were comprehensively analyzed, and the corresponding solution of drawing quality was given.The numerical simulation shows that, in forming interior panel, the impact of binder force and stamping speed on the least local thickness and the generation of crack and wrinkle is greater, the impact of the gap between die and punch and draw-bead depth is littler.
