Development Of NC System For NC Flame Cutting Machine Based On IPC

In this dissertation, we depicted the development of NC Flame Cutting Machine, the research level of NC Flame Cutting Machine and the developing trend of NC Flame Cutting Machine. In order to make up for the traditional expert blocked control system, this dissertation brought forward a model of control system based on open-architecture IPC and motion controller card and discussed characteristics and achieving way of open-architecture NC system. Aiming at the characteristics of process of NC flame cutting machine, NC system of the machine based on IPC was developed and its hardware and software designs were introduced in this thesis.The hardware of this system introduced the control model based on IPC and motion controller card. The reliable function IPC was used as the base of hardware of NC system. Combining characteristics of process of NC flame cutting machine, under low cost, NC Flame Cutting Machine have more machining accuracy and flexibility.In software system, the design idea is based on open and modular architecture, making the best use of the abundant software resource of Windows. The well operation interface and convenient and effective working environment is achieved because of the use of the object-oriented programming language of Visual C++ 6.0.In this dissertation, the arithmetic of the minimal encircled rectangle of irregular two dimension part was put forward, which resolves the question that the same-size parts are in batches processing, improving the utilization factor and labor productivity.This new type of system has many such remarkable advantages as higher reliability, better performance, more powerful function and lower cost. So it can be widely used in the future.
