Because of the superiority of decreasing tapping torque, improving quality and prolonging the tap life, vibration tapping is applied as a new technics.But this technics has not been applied widely.It is pivotal to optimize technological parameter for extending the technology.In this paper,the database for technological parameter matching in vibration tapping is established based on artificial neural network.In this paper, the basic technological parameters are established based on the analyse for the influent factors of the tapping effect and tapping quality. The related datas between vibration tapping technological parameter and tapping torque are aimed at and analysed.Based on the theory of artificial neural network, predictive model for tapping torque is established by using the Neural Network Toolbox of MATLAB.The test that using the experiment data of Q235 is done,the result shows the feasibility of the predictive model.At the same time,how to design the interface between MATLAB and Delphi is introduced, it can combine the function of database management (Delphi) and the prediction of Neural Network Toolbox. Besides that, utilizing Delphi as development tool,the database system for technological parameter matching in vibration tapping is established. It has good human-computer interfaces and can be easily operated.
