The direction of crack in rock can be well controlled towards a special way by notched directional splitting controlled blasting. The economic performance of produce is very obvious using the blasting method. Therefore, it is very important to study the mechanism and the related parameters of notched directional splitting controlled blasting.Most of the dynamic process data in the solid material, such as the dissemination of stress waves ,the fold of stress waves, and the interaction of crack and stress waves can be acquired directly by the dynamic photoelasticity experiment. The dynamic photoelasticity reflects the information and the regulation of the blasting process truly.Based on the theoretical analysis of splitting mechanics and by the dynamic photoelasticity experiment, we studied the judgment how rock and concrete split under the affection of notched blasting. We built up the splitting mechanics model of rock and concretes under the affection of notched blasting. Beyond all above, we gain the mechanism of notched directional splitting controlled blasting.We studied the related parameter of notched blasting by the dynamic photoelasticity experiment simply. We also designed reasonable blasting parameter under the condition of laboratory.At the same time, we researched the method of the dynamic photoelasticity experiment. We designed a protection device and a trigger to pack the medicine structure synchronously. It was proved by many experiments that the protection device and the structure can make experiments efficiently and economy the cost.
