Tobacco bacterial wilt and black shank are the most popular two soil-borne diseases in tobacco leaf production in our country. At present, although several integrated agricultural steps including disease-resistant varieties, chemical fungicides and biological control et al, are taken to control the disease, the disease could not be controlled successfully, because each step has some limitations or weaknesses in practices. Ecological protection and control is a new thought and method, which applies principle of ecology to plant disease control. Highly effective antagonistic strains with biological control of tobacco wilt and black shank are screened from the bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi of the parent soils and introduced into agriculture solid wastes, increase considerably in the composts prepared with the wastes, in the study. It can improve and restore the ecological environment of soil, enhance the abilities of soil and tobacco to suppress plant diseases, reduce the use of fertilizers and chemical fungicides, improve the quality of tobacco leaf and achieve the sustainable development of tobacco leaf production through application of organic manure or combination with biological control and use of antagonistic bacteria. The antagonistic strains of tobacco wilt and black shank were screened in this study, 6 antagonistic strains of tobacco wilt and 2 suppressive fungi of tobacco black shank with good potential biocontrol or suppressive function were obtained, strain T5, having better effect against tobacco wilt in these inhibitory strains, was used as a objective strain and the production process of special organic manure with suppressive function to tobacco wilt was explored, including the study of these factors such as feasible inoculation time, inoculation quantity and abundant increase time et al.. Meanwhile the inhibitory mechanism of tobacco black shank was studied. Results are as follows:1 , the pathogenic bacteria of tobacco wilt were isolated from the disease trains in tobacco plants from Fujian Province tobacco field. After isolation and purification, 40 trains of soil bacteria were obtained from the same tobacco field, and 6 kinds of the soil strains, named T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6, were identified having obviously...
