The Study On Functional Zoning Of Chishui Alsophila Spinulosa National Nature Reserve

Nature reserve is the special region by law to protect typical ecosystems, save rare and endangered species and conserve important natural relics. It possesses the functions of nature conservation, scientific research, natural education and local development, which are realized by functional zoning of nature reserve. An objective functional zoning is better at improving the protection of nature and natural resources and harmonizing the development of community economy for the unification of ecological and social benefits.At present, functional zoning of most nature reserves is made out by the qualitative method and it differs from the reality, so the method for functional zoning must be improved. The thesis, based on one example analysis, studies and discusses the quantitative method for functional zoning of nature reserve. With Chishui Alsophila spinulosa National Nature Reserve as the demonstrative area, the thesis plots the whole into 129 ecological units by gridding means and establishes the index system of functional zoning with 12 indexes from 5 main categories on the basis of the analysis of natural and social factors and others.
