In China the fuel of most industrial ceramic kilns depends on coal. During the burning of the industrial coal-burning ceramic kilns, much black smoke created. It brings grave air-pollution.It also do harm to surrounding environment and people's health.Its main component is carbon black. Because of the pricular characteristics of carbon black----the surface of it is hydrophobic and its partical is very tiny and wispy, dust remove technique can not remove it efficiently.Aiming at these, two new methods of controlling the black smoke from the industrial coal-burning ceramic kilns are brought forward.Because of the hydrophobe surface, carbon black is difficult to be wetted. If a little of surfactant is added into water, the hydrophile will improve greatly between water and carbon black. Based on the Mechanism of Surfactant and Flocculation, a new technique of how to deal with the carbon black was brought forward. In order to change the sedimentation state of the carbon black,we added flocculation in surfactant solution . According to the properties of physics and chemistry of carbon black, we carried out the mixture of flocculation accelerator and surfactant,and then we mensurate the wipe efficiency of the solution which has the lowest surface tension in every concentration of flocculation accelerator.Through sclecteing time after time,we selected one direction: Na2SO4 (100mmo·L-1) + SDBS (1.2mmol·L(-1)) + PAM (40mg·L(-1)),and its wipe efficiency of carbon black is 94.34%.An other new technique of remove carbon black is being filtrated by drying,changing filter medium of dust colleter: from traditional fibre material into a new one----tiny-hole ceramic.The filter characteristics of tiny-hole ceramic are studied. After fully dust loading the efficiency of new dust remover are also inverstigated. The relationship of filter resistance and filter velocity & the relationship of inlet dust-contained concentration and dust removal efficiency etal. are researched . When inlet dust-contained concentration within 1000mg/m31250mg/m3 and velocity within 1.0m/min1.5m/min , its efficiency of carbon black can reach 97.6%.Two techniques of absorbing carbon black are greatly innovated based on conventional dust remove techniques.According to experimental results and practical status, the outlook and benefit are also simply analysised.
