With high refractive index and high dispersion, ZF types optical glasses have very important role in optical design, because ZF types (heavy flint) optical glasses include P b 0, during the melting , working and other processes ,it will pollute the environment and be harmful to people's health. With the increase of market demand for optical glass, the problem of pollution is growing more seriously, so developing and manufacturing environmental protection type of optical glass will be the leading direction of this industry.This text's emphasis studies the ZF types environmental protection optical glass, that is to say, after TiO2 replaces P b 0, the changes of glass's density, chemistry stability, relative chromatic dispersion, coefficient of expansion, machine function, color code, diversification temperature, viscosity curve. Especially to the glass with high TiO2 content (>25%), this article uses re-melting method to explore, which still has not studied and applied in China yet.
