The Study On Assessment System Of National Environmental Security

As an important composition of national safety and security, environmental security has been attracted extensive attentions. The assessment of environmental security can help us know about the information on environmental security, and it is the precondition for establishing the early-warning system of environmental security. However, there are few studies concerned about the environmental security assessment, and a scientific system has not come into being.On the basis of investigating environmental security assessment and ecological security assessment, as well as the practical research experience and the statistical datum, a set of environmental security assessment system is brought forward. It is classified according to the four carriers —water, atmosphere, land and species. And at the same time the PSR frame model was used. Then an assessment system composed of 5 levels (collectivity level, system level, variable level, index level and indicator level)-4 aspects (water, atmosphere, land and species)-3 angles (pressure, status and response) is formed. On the basis of assessing the status of environmental security, and through the pressure and the response indicators, the author forecasts the trends of environmental security. In the end, the main research fruits were summarized, and some problems to be solved were pointed out.The thesis is finished based on development of national environmental security assessment system, and assesses the environmental security of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province as cases, it can provide experiences for the subsequent task.
