As a method widely used in separation coal, jigging technology has direct and important influence on the quality and output of coal product Emphasising on discharging of light product, we develop a new type discharging device which act on the discharging part of jigger and can follow the pulse of the separation line of density.As the development of LSI and VLSI technology, especially the appearance and application of microprocessor, the control technology of jigger developes well and becomes an important power to increase the efficiency of jigger more and more. In this paper, we introduce the PLC automatic control system based on fuzzy-control algorithm which is built for the new type discharging device.Firstly, we introduce the mechanics of jigging separation and the separation theory of jigging product Based on that, we expound the design, design feature and operating principle of the new type discharging device. By analysing the operating principle of the new type discharging device, we confirm the feature of controlled member and requirement of control systemAccording to that, we establish a PLC automatic control system based on fuzzy-inference algorithm. Fuzzy control is one of the intelligent control methods. Compared with the traditional control(for example: PID control),fuzzy control need not to know the exact mathematic model of controlled member ,can imitate the human thinking and has strong rubustness, especially being fitted for the control of jigging separation which is nonlinear and strong coupled and hard to build model.In this paper, we use the SIMATIC S7-200 PLC as the core controller and study deeply the pratical problems which occur probably when control system is running. This paper emphasizes system constitutes, hadware composing, programme methods, communication networks of SIMATIC S7-200 PLC and their integrative applications. The core content of this paper is design of fuzzy-controller according to the system feature.Based on the deep understanding of fuzzy control mechanics and the feature of control system, we design the fuzzy-controller including the structure of fuzzy-controller, fuzzy rules, fuzzification and so on and use MATLAB to emulate and optimize itThe last part in this paper sums up the key parts of the whole project Figure [34] table [9]...
