As an important mechanical lifting method, oil recovery through screw pumps has itsobvious characteristic and superiority. The quantity and level of application of screw pumps isincreasing obviously. The screw pump is a kind of cavity pump with many advantages, such asless moving parts, no valve and complex channel, even displacement capacity, high adaptabilityin addition, as a ground equipment, the oil recovery system has the advantages of small floorarea, low investment, easy to manage, and easy to adjust displacement, As a lifting equipmentits lifting performance must be enhanced so that the superiority and efficiency can be showed.In this paper, we have the screw pump lifting system as the research object, have theincrease of lifting efficiency of screw pump and prolong the check period of screw pump as thetarget, have the combination between theory and experiment as major means. Aiming at theworking condition of screw pump, we consider the technical indexes comprehensively, such asgross efficiency, volumetric efficiency, distortion distance and so on. And through researchingthe relation between some characters and lifting performance of screw pump, such as theworking rotate speed of lifting system of screw pump, the fit clearance between stator and rotor,the down depth of screw pump, thermal and so on, we build the assessment model betweenthese characters and lifting performance of screw pump at last, so that we can realize the targetof increase the lifting performance from the aspects of design, build and use.According to the working mechanism of screw pump, we analysis and understand theeffective factor and mechanism of lifting performance of screw pump qualitatively in theories.Then we analog the working condition through performance testing experimental apparatus,acquire experiment data in experimental way, graph corresponding working characteristic curveof screw pump, propose the assessment index of experiment, analysis the winds of change ofthe curve and difference between these curve quantitatively, and obtain the relations betweenthese effective factors and some technical indexes such as underground gross efficiency,volumetric, efficiency, distortion and so on. So that we can build the assessment model oflifting performance of screw pump, and find the way of increasing lifting performance of screwpump.
