Ultrafiltration(UF) has been developing quickly in recent years for its characteristics, such as operation easily, little pollution, high selectivity, and so on. NF, which has hole diameters of nanometers, is a pressure driven process that forms the transition between nanofiltration and macrofiltration, and now has been applied in many fileds, such as medicine, water process, biologic engineering, etc. However, organic ultrafiltration membrane and inorganic ultrafiltration membrane, whose application are restricted for their membrane materials, are researched much now. Therefore, to develop new membrane material, so as to prepare high performance ultrafiltration membrane, has been paid more attention.This paper manages to develop new organic-inorganic hybrid ultrafiltration membrane material, through the research of organic material and inorganic material, so as to prepare a new type of ultrafiltration with high separation performance, especially to those whose whose molecular weight is about several hundred. Here, polyethersulfone(PES) is used as membrane material to prepare PES ultrafiltration membrane, and the role, such as the kind of solvent, PES concentration, the kind and content of addictive, the temperature of coagulation bath, palyed in the separation performance of PES ultrafiltration membrane. In order to improve performance of ultrafiltration membrane, polyethersulfone(PES) is used as organic membrane material, silicon dioxise(SiO2) is used as inorganic membrane material to prepare PES/SiO2 hybrid ultrafiltration membrane, and the role, such as the kind of solvent, PES concentration, SiO2 content, coupling agent condition, the kind and content of addictive, the temperature of coagulation bath, palyed in the separation performance of PES/SiO2 hybrid nanofiltration membrane. The structure and separation performance of the ultrafiltration membranes are researched systematically, and the hot and chemical stability are also researched here. For example, the micro-structure of ultrafiltration is observed by SEM;The surface of UF is observed by AFM;Water flux, PEG600 flux and retention are investigated by Quadri-Dynamic Instrument;Retention is measured by retention of PEG that has different molecular weights, et al.As a result, the flux of water and PEG600 are 102.6 L·h-1·m-2and 97.66 L·h-1 ·m-2 and its retention of PEG600 are 59.02%. The water flux of PES/SiO2 hybridultrafiltration membrane increased much and reached to 197.3 L?h"' ?m"2, and its retention of PEG600 is 60.27%. The structures of both membrane are just like typical ultrafiltration membrane. Their average hole diameters are about several hundred nanometers, and they have better good retention to those whose molecular weight is bigger than 600, and the tri-cycle PEG600 retention are even reached to 92.83% and 90.41% respectively and they have better hot and chemical resistance.
