China has a great population with a vast territory,and there is a great necessityfor water to be used in industry,agriculture as well as daily life. However,the perwater resource of our country is poor,and the problem of water pollution is veryserious,therefore the lack of water resource has become an important counteract tothe economical development of our country and the improvement of people's livingstandard. Accordingly,working out a suitable method to reduce or remove the injurantin sewage is one of the main approaches to solve the problem of lacking for water.The paper is dealing with the municipal sewage of high concentration in ourcountry by using biological methods,including the flora' foster and domestication,the disposal of municipal sewage by single flora and complex flora,the influences onthe effect of disposing municipal sewage caused by the concentration change of asingle flora involved in complex flora,and the experimental technic conditions for thedisposing municipal sewage by complex flora. This research takes the lead inapplying such new in-line technic as the degradation and fermentation,complexfermentation,and photosynthesis fermentation,combining with the technic offlocculation to realize a more satisfying result.After the experiment,we have got the necessary photosynthesis bacteria,lactobacillus,actinomycetes and microzymes by ways of collection,purification,foster and domestication. We have also got suitable complex flora after making aproportional optimum experiment to different flora. The study of disposing themunicipal sewage of low concentration by using a single flora shows thatactinomycetes and photosynthesis bacteria have obvious effects of purification onsewage,whereas the effect of microzymes is much lower,therefore the propotion oflactobacillus,actinomycetes and photosynthesis bacteria should be increased,and theuse level of microzymes should be decreased. We have also disposed municipalsewage of high concentration by using single flora and complex flora,and made afurther rearch and optimization to experimental parameter and conditions. After thesewage of high concentration (COD>10000mg/L)has been disposed by complexflora and lactobacillus,the effect of removing COD is obvious,and the rate ofremoving ammonia nitrogen is especially higher (>93%). Then we made a furtherdisposal by using photosynthesis bacteria,as a result,the rate of removing COD isclose to 90% and the rate of removing ammonia nitrogen is over 94%,which indicatesthat the biochemical method that we have used is a proper way to dispose municipalsewage of high concentration. On the laboratory equipment made by ourselves,weadopted such three steps as the degradation and fermentation,complex fermentation,and photosynthesis fermentation,combining with the technic of flocculation todispose municipal sewage of high concentration. The result of the whole experimentshows that if our experimental method and technic are adopted,the rate of removingboth COD and ammonia nitrogen in municipal sewage of high concentration can be ashigh as 90% at least.
