Studies On The Synthesis And Biological Activities Of Novel Cyclopentathiane And Cyclohexathiane

In the thesis,the study development of alicydic polysulfides which had strong flavour and efficient antimicrobial activity were reviewed. At the same time, we also dicussed the synthesis ways.In order to search nover perfume of cyclic polysulfides, we designed and synthesized four series of new alicylic polysulfides,I 3,3,5,5-tetrabenzyl-l,2,4-trithianeII 3,3,6,6-tetrabenzyl-1,2,4,5-tetrathianeIII 4,6-disubstitued-2,2- dibenzyl-l,3,5-trithiane(R= C₆H₅, H, 4-CH₃OC₆H₄, 4-CH₃C₆H₄, 4-Cl C₆H₄ ) VI 2,2,4,6-tetrasubstitued -1,3,5-trithiane(R1 =H, CH3;R2= H, CH3;R= C₆H5, 4-CH₃OC₆H₄)The synthesis processes of compounds were not reported, but the synthesis theories were resembled ,through study, effective synthesis ways were found.The structures of compounds were characterized by IR, ¹H NMR and MS spectroscopes, and their thermal properties were studied by DSC and TG method.Preliminary odorous assay shows that most of compounds have strong onion flavor,besides III2 which shows odor of chicken.
