To seek truth from"prohibit from phosphorous"facts, provide the scientific basis of decision for the next steps, carride out investigations about the execution situation of"prohibit from phosphorous"around the 36 administrative divisions in whole municipal town from Dec,2002. Meanwhile, we have selected 7 typical sanitary waste discharge outlet to carry out 24h-72h (sampling per hour) monitoring both before and after execute"prohibit from phosphorous", analyze the variations of total phosphorou and relate indexes, exposition the scource of the phosphorous in sanitary waste, and make comparative analysis of total phosphorou variation between main secondary rivers. Expound the"prohibit from phosphorous"present status and research findings in domestic and abroad. Collecting, arranging and analyzing various pollutin sources entered into Chongqing storehouse area. We also do the sample survey as following: the enterprise execution situation of"prohibit from phosphorous"measures, saling and applicating performance of phosphorated and non-phosphorated detergent, and town and rural residents'per consumption of laundry detergent.Present research indicate that the policy of forbid saling and applicating the phosphorated detergent from 1st, Jau,2003 is essential and effective, which bring notable benefits: by the end of the 2003, non-phosphorated detergent products had become main stream flow in Chongqing market, which account above 90% sales volume. Estimating from the detergent use level, phosphorous production from town and rural residents'consumption of detergent are 3140t/a and 10.2t/a before and after"prohibit from phosphorous", respectively. Phosphorous discharge entering into rivers are 1860t/a and 6t/a, respectively. The policy of"prohibit from phosphorous"decrease the phosphorous production from town and rural residents'detergent and phosphorous discharge entering into rivers to 3129.8t/a and 1854t/a, respectively. The measures of"prohibit from phosphorous"have contributed to prevent the water eutrophcation in Three Gorges storehouse area...
