Along with rise of the "back to nature" trend, people pay more interest on use of"environment -friendly" materials. This paper discussed the necessity to magnify thecapacity of Langang pp set, and explored the effective approach of technicalreconstruction. Firstly, the author discussed the advantage and disadvantage of four kinds of PPproduction process, as well as their market share. Secondly the author introduced theworldwide production and consumption of PP in recent years, analyzed the Chineseproduction and consumption , concluded that PP market potential is enormous, anddomestic supply-demand gap is much great, but the present capacity of PP isrelatively small. Finally, aiming at this circumstance, this paper researched how to digthe potential of the pp set to augment the yield,increase the benefit, and puttedforward the scheme of reconstruction. In this scheme, according to the characteristicof Sanjing process, combining with the reality of production, author simplified theprocess for development of new products. For farthest utilizing the existing equipmentand raise the yield, author took two piece of measure, one is to directly utilize theexisting equipment, the other is to reconstruct the existing equipment. The practiceimproved the scheme is feasible and successful. The result of capacity mensurationshowed that the maximum capacity is 14.5 tons per hour;average capacity couldreach 14 tons per hour;unit product energy consumption markedly fell;quality ofproduct kept stable;achieved the anticipative goal. As author knew, there is noliterature to refer to the study on same reconstruction.
