| As a new-type cutter, tungsten-carbide rotary burrs are very complex. Traditionally,verification of machining programs using graphical simulation is an economical andefficient way, which can simulate the actual machining condition and analyze themachining program by using the computer modeling and simulation technology. On thebasis of study of the two simulation methods, a theory about the axis directiondecomposition based on modeling is provided, and the strategy for machiningsimulation system based on OpenGL is implemented.This dissertation concentrates mainly on the following items:1. By analyzing the structure of the 4-axis NC rotary grinding machine, Themachine coordinate and tool motion mapping relation are built up in this dissertation.The grinding motion models are built up subsequently.2. The way of axis direction decomposition based on modeling is provided on basisof study, which includes decomposing the rotational part into simple primitive cells byusing the visual programming software Visual C++ and the three dimensional patterncreative software OpenGL as the developing tools, and implementing the booleanoperation between the part model and a tool swept volume dependent on the tool shapeand tool trajectory for each tool movement.3. Developing tools and main plan of the simulation system are given. After theseformer processes of simulation such as color process and modeling, an example of themachining simulation system is provided by this dissertation .4. The interference of tool trajectory is studied in this dissertation , and the newway is provided to compensate it. |
