With the rapid development of our country economy, the demands of high quality cement become more and more. Comparing the development of cement industry of developed countries with the one of our country, we have great gap in the cement industry structure and cement technology. To improve the development level of our cement industry, one hand we must adjust our cement industry structure, the other hand we must use optimal technology in the the cement precalciner system design. The traditional precalciner design has great shortage. Under this background, the author put forward orthogonal design and artificial neural network and genetic algorithms based on computer aided test which comes from the precalciner computer aided test platform to optimize the precalciner design. At first the thesis introduces the theory basis and the construction of precalciner computer aided test platform. Then the thesis simulate a real precalciner which is operating in a cement plant on the precalciner computer aided test platform, the simulation result accord with the measurement of the real precalciner very well. It shows that the precalciner computer aided test platform can simulate the precalner very well. Then the thesis optimizes the structure parameters and technics parameters of DD precalciner with orthogonal design, and simulate the designs on the precalciner computer aided test platform, then the results and influence prominence factors are got. Finally the author optimizes the precalciner with artificial neural network and genetic algorithms based on the project examples which comes from orthogonal design, and then the optimized result is got. Comparing the optimized precalciner with the one not be optimised, we can find that the optimized project of precalciner has great superiority than the primary one. So the aim of optimizing the precalciner has achieved. It shows that the method of using orthogonal design and artificial neural network and genetic algorithms to optimize precalciner based on the computer aided test (CAT) is feasible; it can save much time and money at the same time increase design efficiency and design effect.
