What is emphasized on technology of FGD recently is the most efficient reliable technology with lower energy consumption. So, it' s time to make wide use of the properties of ESP and combine dust removal with desulfurization for a new dust removal and FGD integrative technologyIn order to explore the desulfurization mechanism of the integrative technology, we studied in the experiments the influence of voltage, temperature, original concentration, flux, FA additive and the way airflow moved on use rate of the calcium absorbent. And through analyses of experimental data and result samples, desulfurization mechanism of the calcium absorbent in discharge condition was concluded.The study insists that the utilization efficiency of calcium adds with the increase of voltage initial concentration of SO2 gas flux moisture rate mass of FA and with the decrease of temperature in a certain bound. With the action of the electric field the main reaction of calcium desulfurization is the reaction between gas (SO2) and solid(Ca(0H)2), which is senior to the reaction of radicals produced by oxidation in electric field. The reason why usedability of calcuim is strengthened is that activation of calcium caused by electric field makes ratio surface area of calcium added and disperse degree improved.
