Licorice is a kind of Chinese traditional herbal medicine, it's used very common in Chinese drugs. Pharmacological activities of glycyrrhizin, a saponin of licorice root, and its aglycone, glycyrrhetinic acid have been studied extensively, and their effects of anti-inflammatory, antiulcerous and antiallergic have already reported by many articles. And administration of glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhetinic acid preparations in higher dosage for a long period has resulted in a side effect which is noted as pseudoaldosteronism inducing edema and hypertension in patients. This mineral corticoid-like action of glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhetinic acid producing Na ion retention and K ion excretion. To enhance the therapeutic activities of the mother compound and retain or remove the aldosterone-like properties at the same time, this thesis studied on some derivatives of glycyrrhetinic acid and consists of three parts:Part I: synthesis some derivatives of glycyrrhetinic acid1. To form esters using the group -OH, or -COOH of glycyrrhetinic acid,2. Investigated the reaction of 11-deoxo-glycyrrhetinic acid3. Some structure of fluoroglycyrrhetinic acid were designed and optimized by ComputerPart II: Study on Inclusion Complex of Carbenoxolone Sodium with Matrine, Oxymatrin, Paracetamol, and PseduoephedrineSome inclusion complex of carbenoxolone sodium and matrine (CS/OMT,CS/PCM,CS/PEC) have been synthesized for the first time and characterized by UV, IR,~1HNMR and XRD, and the pharmacological activity of the inclusion complex have also been studied.Part III: The preparation and application of urea peroxide as a bleaching agentThe methods of preparing urea peroxide and reusing mother liquor were studied. Process parameters such as concentration of urea peroxide, bleaching time and PH value were approached. Urea peroxide as a new kind of bleaching agent features high efficiency and no corrosion. |
