With the development of industiy, the atmospheric pollution is getting more and more serious, which has become a worldwide problem. SO2 from fire power plants is one of the main atmospheric pollutants. A lot of data show that SO2 given off from fire power plants is getting more terrible, which brings huge loss for our country.Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) is the one cosmically commercial desulfurization way in the world. It is the main technology measure to control acid rain and sulfur dioxide pollution. Since the wet, semi-dry and dry FGD are more perfect and mature, power plants may widely choose adoptabledesulfurization techniques. Under different conditions, each power plant may gain the best effect of desulfurization only when it adopts most suitable FGD technique. Obviously, it is necessary to build up a suit of scientific, reasonable, economical and integrated evaluation system for FGD techniques.In this thesis the main desulfurization technologies are introduced in detail, which includes wet, semi-dry and dry flue gas desulfurization. Author analyzed the technical essential of FGD equipment and appraised its technique parameters. In the thesis advantages and shortages of each technique are pointed out, and economical index are researched to find out the main factors for evaluation. The author confirmed a suit of index synthetical for appraising technical and economical capability of FGD techniques.The multi-level fuzzy mathematics model was presented to evaluate the comprehensive performance of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) technologies for fire power plants. The first-level factors include efficiency performance, economicparameters and technical performance. Each consists of a few second-level factors. The evaluation steps are as followings. Firstly, the influence of second-level factors on assessment is expressed in membership functions. Then the first-level factors are evaluated elementarily. The comprehensive evaluation is conducted on the basis of results from elementary assessment.Based on the multi-level fuzzy mathematics model, a lot of important factors are added to the model, such as water amount, environment performance. Thus the evaluation system becomes more perfect and external. Six kinds of important FGD technologies are evaluated by using the fuzzy model. According to the rule of Maximum Membership Value, the best is wet limestone flue gas desulfurization and the second is wet ammonia process. The conclusion will provide a good reference for the fire power plants to choose flue gas desulfiirization.
