Study On Development Of KBE Application Tool Based On Digital Mockup Assembly Design

With development of economy and society,the requirement of client is running to small batch and more categories.So,when corporation is designing product,it must try it's best to reduce the cost of product designing and to shorten the time of product coming into the market.Complex product designing is SO.Because KBE is the combine and advancement of CAD(Computer Aided Design)and AI(Artificial Intelligence), and is the developing trend of CAD,product designing(especially complex product designing)is changed by KBE(Knowledge Based Engineering).The application of KBE on complex product designing is researched by the paper,and the realization means of key technology of KBE is put forward,SO corporation is increased the capability of competition. Firstly,the requirement of technology on complex product designing is discussed. Based on the instance above,the coming into being and definition of KBE is researched, and the status and shortage about KBE are analyzed.Based on the analyzing of the signification and the measure of complex product designing,the configuration of KBE on complex product designing is proposed,and the key technologies on it are particular discussed.Based on the analyzing of STEP(Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data)and EXPRESS,EXPRESS schema implementation in relational database is proposed.And based on the running of KBE system,it is discussed that the implementation of key technologies on KBE system. Lastly,based on the theories presented above,the DST-1 KBE system of over-all lying out on bus body is established.And the instance about lyir~g out on bus passenger is presented.The system is checked and accepted by the committee of science and technology in ChongQing.
