In this paper, the study target is the low concentration SO2 removal from exhaust gas of sulphuric acid equipment. After many overseas and interior references read and analyzed, this paper propones a new desulfurization method-aqueous catalytic oxidization of sulphur dioxide removal in low concentration by phosphoric ore pulp.Through orthogonal experiments, the factors that influenced the desulfurization rate moreor less were confirmed, gas speed> absorption temperature > solid-liquid mass ratio of phosphorus ore pulp; the optimum reaction condition was obtained-gas speed is 0.3L/min, absorption temperature is 20℃, solid-liquid mass ratio of phosphorus ore pulp is 48%, O2 concentration is 21%(volumetric proportion). Under the optimum reaction conditions, the continuous experimental results show that absorption efficiency could maintain 100% within 400 min; P2O5% mass concentration attained 3.20% in the pulp and absorption capacity of phosphoric ore powder could attain 2.68×10-2g(SO2)/g(ore powder). Moreover, effect of main factors on removal efficiency was studied. When absorbent pH or SO2 inlet concentration increased, absorption efficiency reduced. After heated by microwave, absorption efficiency of phosphoric ore powder would raise. For different phosphoric ore powder, absorption efficiency would approach if component of Fe2O3 as catalyst was close. Arranging and analyzing the experimental datum, a unary linear regress formula was got, Y = -3.2471X + 1044.1, X-SO2 and O2 concentration ratio[mg/(m3·%)], Y- reaction time(min). This formula can accurately show the relationship between X and Y.The absorption reaction is a complex system including gas, liquid and solid. The main control step is the solution of O2 from gas to liquid.In the test of factory, the continuous experimental results also show that phosphoric ore pulp is a good absorbent for SO2; absorption efficiency of exhaust gas of sulphuric acid equipment could maintain 80% within 653 min and P2O5% mass concentration attained 1.2% in the pulp.The desulfurization method has projecting advantages: simple process, high purifying efficiency, and good economic profits. And it will have a wild use.
