Improvement And Application Study Of Activated Sludge Model On Basis Of ASM3

Since the international water association in 1987 (IWA) puts out the Activated sludge Model No.1 in 1987, many scholars began to applying themselves to the research of application of the model, then impulse greatly the application of the model on the domain of sewage treatment. By development of more than ten years, Activated sludge Model has become the most important content of the design and operation of the sewage plant. At present, in many developed countries in the world, Activated sludge Model has been applied widely to development and assistant design of the technics of wastewater treatment and management of wastewater treatment. Compare on international advanced level, the research and application of Activated sludge Model of our country lags behind very much. In view of the research current situation in this respect of our country, in order to promote popularization and application of the model in home, this subject is based on Activated sludge Model No.3, has carried out proper improvement to this model, and utilizes VB6.0 to develop the relative complete computer application program by myself. Through simulation of the data of the real sewage plant, the mathematics model can reflect impact on systematic function of waste water treatment by change of parameter value and the operation way through imitating. After analyses in detail to the change of water quality and the operation condition of the structures, we can make the optimization operation scheme of the sewage treatment plant, thus reach such improvement with realistic significance as advance water quality and reduce energy consumption. The main content of this thesis includes: development and application of the Activated sludge Model; Mechanism research of the ASM series model; Establishment of Activated sludge Mathematical Model and numerical computation method; Development of the computer application program of on the basis of the Activated sludge Model ASM3; Application study of the mathematics model in reality.
