Water quality model is established mainly for the purpose of waterquality simulation, water quality planning and evaluation of waterenvironmental impact. In practice, people often use developed water qualitymodel. Then, the only thing to do is to carry out identification andparametric estimation on the model selected in view of the specific water area.Once the water quality model is finalized, how to carry out correct andeffective estimation on model parameters according to the known data frommonitoring of water quality has therefore become one extremely importantwork for systematic analysis of water environment.This thesis adopts Dobbins-Camp BOD-DO coupled model to simulatewater quality, and when obtaining the optimized value of the parameter, it usesthe weighed sum of squares with difference between calculation and actuallymeasured value of Dobbins-Camp BOD-DO coupled model as the targetfunction to make estimation. Through theoretic analysis and numericcalculation, it studies kinetic characteristics and pollutant transform laws ofthe 2nd Songhua River Water; emphasizes parametric recognition for Frechetderivative regularization based on Dobbins-Camp BOD-DO coupled model inwater quality simulation and how to make estimation. After the targetfunction is determined, the water quality parameters will be determinedthrough optimization technology. This thesis studies how to improve andapply Dobbins-Camp and O'Connor models, gives operation example to FRalgorithm and proves its effectiveness. Simultaneously, it makes a study onfitness of the above two models and data actually measured. The whole thesis is divided into six parts: Part One introduces origin and development of forecasting through waterquality model, discusses present situation and development trend offorecasting through water quality model in technical aspect, and furtherdetermines the direction of the study in this thesis. Part Two mainly describes fundamental knowledge of water qualitymodel and basic forms of forecasting. Part Three discusses parametric recognition for Frechet derivativeregularization based on Dobbins-Camp BOD-DO coupled model in waterquality simulation and how to make estimation. Firstly, it gives analyticsolution to the model, carries out disperse processing to the equation, and thenobtains the parameters. Part Four provides examples about water deterioration cased by wastewater discharged from plants in Jilin City located along 344km length fromFengman Section to the Sancha River Port of the 2nd Songhua River, carriesout detail study on its water flow kinetic law and pollutant transformperformance, uses derivative regularization method to make verification, andobtains conclusion on optimized selection. Part Five gives analytic solution to O'Connor BOD-DO model in waterquality planning, and obtains the parameters. Part Six makes estimation on O'Connor BOD-DO model parameters,uses the steepest descent method to make linear regression estimation andobtains the conclusions. This thesis uses the developed one dimension water flow and waterquality model to make multiple plan improvement and simulated forecastingon the water quality tendency, which provides basis for pollution control of the2nd Songhua River Water.
