Computer technology has been applied in every walk of life. Facing rapidly changing market request, furniture and indoor, as an important industry of national economy, must extract advanced computer technology to renovate machines especially, Wood products often bear all kinds of intricate curve contour, as the traditional process is time-taking and insecurity, a new efficient process method must be taken. In this thesis, study about how to control the saw automatically by computer, especially curve saw. We design a numerical control curve system. There are an industrial, a 3-axis stepping/servo control board, three stepping motor. In the paper, introduce structure and numerical control system. In second chapter, discuss some theories of interpolation algorithm of numerical control, mainly point-by-point method and DDA. In three chapter analyze free curve standard form NURBS, discuss NURBS and it's computing, give a faster method derivative NURBS. We analyze NURBS file formation in AutoCAD in this chapter. In fourth chapter, firstly we analyze theory of curve saw working and give a theory, which approach NURBS by lines. In this chapter, we design electro circuit and select propriety component. In the chapter last part, we introduce the numerical control software. In fifth chapter, we test our numerical control curve saw and saw some wood boards and wood-based panels. We design numerical system of numerical control curve saw system which operate and use easily.
